Mao Xing Lang Ya — S2 E22

About this show

Wang Yang, a present-day PhD in Chinese language and literature, is thrown back with four companions to the eighth year of the Yongming era of the Southern Qi dynasty, AD 490. They have barely arrived before a clash with border soldiers turns deadly, and Wang Yang is accused of spying for the North. With nothing to rely on but what he knows of the period’s history and texts, he passes himself off as a son of the Wang clan of Langya, one of the most powerful aristocratic families of the age.
