In early 1980s a young child disappears. The lack of police support pushes the concerned parents to take justice into their own hands and launch a desperate manhunt that is seen from the perspective of the local children.

1. VastatuuleenMirko and his family move to his mother's childhood home in Munkkivuori. When he arrives, the whole neighbourhood is deeply shocked by the recent disappearance of a young boy.
2. Sisko ja sen veliMirko spends the night with his new friend Pete and his sister Heidi. The parents are behaving strangely - they want to keep the secrets out and the kids out of the basement.
3. Sodan ja rauhan miehetTragedy falls on Mirko's family when his grandmother dies, but Mirko continues to make friends with the other children.
4. Älä kieltäydy kahdestiWhile other friends are on holiday abroad, Mirko befriends Sampsa. Mirko's mother Anne seems to be hiding something from her husband that happened 20 years ago.

9. Perhe on pahinRelations between Mirko's parents are still icy. Kari, the owner of a local hairdressing salon, becomes the object of suspicion for Mirko and her friends. Has history repeated itself in the suburbs?
10. JuuretMysteries past and present will be solved. It's the end of summer and Mirko's family will be moving again.
