Hooja och den sista resan
The Quest for the Soul of the Torne Valley
2026 · Documentary · 1h 56m ·
Hooja and Mårdis are two upstanding men from the Malmfälten region with grand plans—and a complete lack of a sense of direction. Tasked with transporting the ashes of a relative’s deceased elkhound along the Torne River, they embark on a journey for which they are neither prepared nor fully grasp the magnitude: they are to discover the soul of the Torne Valley. In the back: an urn. In the front seat: two men doing their absolute best. Ahead of them: encounters with the very best the Torne Valley has to offer.
